Perkins Web Portal is strengthening its security at the Department of Education. All users who do not have an ED network account (@ed.gov) must use Login.gov account credentials to access Perkins Web Portal after August 25, 2023. Therefore, if you do not currently have a Login.gov account, you must create one before then. Making this change, will make your account more secure and reduce phishing and other cybercriminal acts. This change is a direct response to memorandums sent by the White House (M-19-17 and M-22-09) that require the use of additional levels of security for all users. To create an account with Login.gov, please go to the Login.gov sign-up page and follow the instructions in the Login.gov guide to add authentication methods to your account. If you have any issues with creating your Login.gov account, please use Login.gov's help center.
