The Dual Enrollment for Adult Learners (DEAL) project, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education (OCTAE), is inviting state teams to participate in a technical assistance (TA) opportunity from June–December 2025. Selected teams will receive support from subject matter experts and project advisors with developing state-defined Ability to Benefit (ATB) processes. Teams also will have the opportunity to engage in peer learning and sharing opportunities. Applications are due May 30, 2025.

The purpose of this consultation will be to receive meaningful input from American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian communities to ensure that Tribal leaders' views inform the design of potential grant priorities. ED remains committed to upholding the federal trust responsibility as set forth in the Constitution of the United States, treaties, executive orders, and court decisions.
